As I wrote in my last post that
tiling was completed and painting had started. I went for a visit to the house
today and met up with our site supervisor. I was really happy with the tiling
job and it looks great. The vanities have also been installed and they blend in
well with the tiles. The ensuite and the second bathroom have had the Caesarstone
bench top installed. We went with Atlantic Salt and it looks good.
I was most anxious to see our
kitchen bench tops. The guys were in the final process of getting the bench installed.
OMG ….it
looks great. The kitchen has come alive. Believe me the picture do not do
justice but it looks great. The kitchen bench is Caesarstone Osprey and will
look great when all our light fixtures and downlights are installed.
I was also surprised to see that
the entire house had its first coat of paint completed already. Our internal
wall colour is Taubmans Phantom Dream and that too looks good. The supervisor
was going through his checks and marking walls and areas that needed fixing. He
will be getting the gyprock guys to come fix the plastering and other bits and pieces
before the final coat.
I spoke to him about the handover
and he reckons he will be in better shape to tell me by the end of November. He
is pushing for before Christmas handover which was great to hear. Fingers cross
we might be lucky…..
